A Little Taste of Ireland

Well, I hope you all had a lovely St.Patrick's Day whether you're Irish or not!
I happen to be about three quarters Irish. My grandfather came straight through Ellis
Island from the "land of saints and scholars".
But I digress..this post is supposed to be about bread - soda bread in particular.
I'm not prone to cooking Irish "type" food but this year, found a simple recipe that
turned out great!

Doesn't it look pretty? And it was really simple..which makes it even better.
I served it up with a little beef stew cooked in the Crock Pot, add a little Irish music..and you'r set!

Looking Towards Spring

The weather is getting warmer and hopefully the last of the snow storms are behind us!

I don't know about you.. but I'm ready for spring and have been busy stocking my
